An update for all those who care.

In January, I got my first actual kitten ever. (Meaning he has no attachments to my mum)

My best friend *NezuKunoichi had invited me and some of our friends to celebrate a few of our birthdays. I got there early, ready to spend the night and waiting for everyone else while Nezu went to her work at a vet clinic. Sometime later, she called to ask me if I by chance wanted a kitten. A kind motorcyclist had come in to their clinic with a two/three week year old kitten. He said it was in the middle of the road with cars and vehicles zooming over it and he only heard it because he was stopped at a red light. A very lucky kit.
I hesitantly said sure, mostly just wanting to see him and maybe help take care of him for a bit. He was so small back then and could easily fit in the palm of one hand. He was mostly just a little black fuzz ball with no visible ears and a plump tail. xD
After the party and spending the night, I took him over to my moms place. It was mostly just to help convince myself that I couldn't really own him because I lack both money and space at the moment. She did convince me of this and I said I'd only take care of it then for a about a week. This soon turned into until it was ready to come off his special kitten formula. Of course, if you couldn't tell by now, that didn't turn out that great either. Not only do I love cats, but after getting my ass up every two hours to feed it (even at night) 24/7, it's hard not to get attached to something. I pity those who have human babies, though I would gladly do it again I so hated getting up like that and couldn't imagine doing so for months. He also only took half an hour to feed and put back to sleep.
Skipping forward~ He no longer feeds from a syringe (his first way of trying to feed him) nor a baby bottle (happily donated from :flamelessnight and can eat both wet and dry food. He also has teeth and claws now, much to the dismay of anyone trying to sleep around him.
Because he is black with white spots, I named him Ravenpaw (Ravenkit right now) after a character with similar features in a book series I'm current into called Warriors. As I said, he is black and has three white splashes under his belly starting from his neck then chest then lower abdomen. His two back feet are white socked along with two toes on both of his front paws. He also has white whiskers which many people fawn over. And today was his first vet visit thanks to Nezu who got him a free checkup. She told me he was fine and healthy so now the only things I have to worry about is trying to keep him from stepping in his poo whenever he gets a bit to happy about trying to use the litter box.

Megacon 09 was really great this year, despite the lack of money floating around in every ones pockets. This year I actually got a back a bit into cosplaying and went as the second generation dark Eevee evolution, Umbreon! Much thanks goes to *NezuKunoichi for getting me the Umbreon hat for my birthday. I did the tail (which their currently is no pictures of) and cut out the little yellow circles for my shoulders and hips.
There is picture of me cosplaying up on the Megacon 09 site, but you'll have to go there and find it for yourself. It was really fun finding so many other Pokemon there. I saw two other Umbreons there beside my self!! One even helped me battle Sasuke e__e
The only annoying thing about being a pokemon is when people tried to catch you. I tried using /flee/ alot or clinging to someone I knew and branding them as my trainer...but that didn't always work...especially when my real trainer kept handing me over to people like Team Rocket. *glares*
I also hated whoever came up with this " I got a game over" saying. I really didn't know how to react to that when people kept saying such to me and usually smiled weakly and "acted" upset. (eventually it wasn't so much an act)
Though it somewhat is better to go about the buying room by ones self (and I still think it's silly I pay to go into a place to buy stuff), I ended up being tagged by Snail through most of it. We only lost each other once which is a huge success in a place like that. Luckily everyone had cell phones this year.
My mum was thankful I didn't end up toting another sword back home like Sephiroths Masamune some Con ago, though Cloud's would be neat to have also...What I did end up getting was a lot of Ramune (a japanese soda pop that comes in a variety of fruity flavors), a Gaara plushy (because one can never have enough of those and I actually found one I didn't have), The first and second season of Yu Yu Hakusho to complete my collection for only $50 (sadly it was season 3 and 4, the ones I already owned in a different box form, that had Kurama and and Hiei on them where as 1 & 2 had Yusuke and Kuwabara), white angelic wings (that so neatly strap to my back), and some assorted gifts for coming up birthday people. I also got a Kingdom Hearts 1 Riku keychain from my lovely Nobody ~Japayuki which is now attached to my cell phone.
So many people did such awesome jobs this year. I think one of my foavorites randomly was and Angewoman cospaly. I love Gatomon and this person went above and beyond on her costume (she was even allergic to the feathers!!). This year I also went to the rave again, even if it was just to quickly dash in to try and find someone so we could leave. I can safely tell you if you ever decide to randomly test your "I-Spy" abilities then try finding someone in a sea of people and flashy, glowing lights while random boys and girls start grinding against you with every turn you take and an annoying long train of more people is snaking its way around the room. Ah, such fun times!! I only regret being stupid and forgetting my rave sticks. Next year!

Tis all from my life for now...other then trying and utterly failing to find a job. Why can't my Japanese "money" tree do its job right? I'm also an expert vocalist on Rockband now and have gold stared 15 songs. >__^ No American Idol for me though~
